Meet The Team
Racehorse Trainer
Henrietta Knight
Hen has been involved with horses all her life. In the 1980s she trained over 100 Point-to-Point winners. From 1989-2012 she held a Trainer's License and had over 700 winners including Best Mate winning three Cheltenham Gold Cups and Edredon Bleu winning the Queen Mother Champion Chase.

Her husband Terry Biddlecombe was three times National Hunt Champion Jockey in the Sixties and then her Assistant Trainer.

Since 2014 Hen has kept up her interest in Racing and has bought many successful horses for clients, including I Am Maximus (Irish Grand National
Winner 2023).

Hen's enthusiasm is greater than ever and with her new license granted in December 2023 she hopes to train more winners and revisit the hallowed
Winners' Enclosure at the Cheltenham Festival.
Assistant Trainer
Brendan Powell
Brendan achieved big wins as a National Hunt Jockey, including winning the 1988 Grand National on Rhyme And Reason as well as winning two Scottish Nationals (1989 and 1999) and two Midlands Nationals (1996 and 1999).

Brendan was a successful trainer himself between 2000-2018 (with over 700 winners) and also fulfilled the role as Assistant Trainer to Joseph O'Brien in Ireland from 2018 until 2023.

Hen says of him,"Brendan is the backbone of my new training operation. His racing knowledge is unbelievable and all the jockeys respect him."
